One year old Theodore is the son of USMC Veteran Drew, and Angelina Smith, and brother of 3 year old AJ. He is so sweet and loving!
Shortly after Theodore’s first birthday, he was taken to the doctor with breathing issues, assumed to be associated with his lungs as they were underdeveloped when he was born prematurely. After many scans and tests, he was heartbreakingly diagnosed with neuroblastoma, pressing against his right lung. The hopes were high after having the tumor removed without the need of chemotherapy. Theodore’s most recent scan revealed the Neuroblastoma has started to grow back in the same area as well as a new node beginning next to his heart, meaning he now requires chemotherapy. Luckily, he is such an amazing fighter!
Each of the many scans and treatments require him to be sedated with anesthesia, making already high medical expenses even more difficult. It would mean the world to be able to alleviate this amazing family of the financial burden while they focus on their family and getting little Theodore well. Every penny, prayer, and positive wish is so appreciated. Thank you!
