This has been a crazy end to my oldest’s education. He started out in Montessori School, got into Seattle Country Day but then the economy collapsed. Spent one year in a public school in Whatcom County before we started homeschooling. In 8th grade he went back to public school here in Maple Valley. He was born just three months after 9/11 in DC. Now he’s graduating in a pandemic. Who knows what will be during his next milestone. What I do know is whatever life will bring, he will face it with grace, brilliance, perseverance, and his own style.
When the pandemic is over I hope he’ll use this fund to take a trip.
