To Ajwang M. Rading's biggest supporters:
Ajwang graduates from UCLA Law on May 15th!
Thank you so much for being part of the village that has lifted him to these new heights. He is going to be a lawyer and plans to address the biggest challenges of our time through law and policy.
Ajwang was most recently selected as a "California Change Lawyer;" having won honors including from the Langston Bar and Charles Houston Bar Association(s), as well as the CAM Foundation. Additionally, he created the FIRST endowed 180k scholarship fund for incoming Black law students. He also led the greatest increase of Black student enrollment at UCLA Law to the highest its been in over 25 years (since Prop 209). He was selected by his peers and faculty for the Skye Donald Spirit Community Award. He served on the UCLA Law Review, as well as won the "best brief" at the Clara Barton International Humanitarian Competition.
Ajwang has never asked for a graduation gift for high school or undergrad, but I am hoping with your help we can help him with his incurred law school expenses.
As his proud mom, I humbly ask you to contribute so that he can finally give back even more powerfully as soon as he starts legal practice this Fall.
