Help a Grandma in Need
At some point in life everyone needs a little extra help from friends, family and even strangers. My mom is at that place and could use a few good souls willing to help her. If you ever wanted to donate to help out another person but didn't know if your donation would actually help the person(s) in need, I know how you feel. I can assure you your donation WILL help give my mom a wonderful gift that she could really use right now, not just in monetary value but also spiritually.
Many of you know my mom and how she has taken on the responsibility of caring for my brothers three children full time (24/7). She is a single mother/grandmother and will be 66 on the 30th so taking care of 3 children under the age of 6 is not an easy task. She is doing the best she can but does not have the funds to get a proper vehicle, this is where we all come in. Her current van cannot be driven at night and has no heater along with a string of other problems. I know I can get her into a nice van for $5000-$6000. I plan to try and find something closer to $5000 and use the rest of the money to pay sales tax, tags, insurance and gas cards.
My mom is not aware of this fundraiser, I didn't want to get her hopes up and it would be so nice to drive up and say, "Keys are yours, it's all paid for!"
I will take pictures and/or video to document her joy so we can all share in that warm fuzzy feeling when you help someone :)

If you make a donation by cash or check, there is no fee taken from your donation. When you click on make a donation you will see an option to pay offline. I am more than willing to answer any questions you may have. I can also have a PayPal account. If we do Friends and Family, there is no charge.

Katerina Mueller has donated an original painting painted by her. Anyone who donates $50 or more by January 11th will be eligible to choose from one of the 4 paintings. They are 14"x11". If you already donated, your name will be put in the hat also :) I can only post one photo at a time, so see below for the other choices.
