We are adopting a little boy from China! We have had a lot of life that led us to this decision and the quote I feel is most pertinent to us right now is "The things you are passionate about are not random.. they are your calling."
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35-40,000. This is why we have set a goal of 20,000 to help ease the financial burden that feels overwhelming to us. We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he comes home and grows up.
