Hi, I'm Evy, a Tokyo 2020 Olympic hopeful!

UPDATE: At the 2019 World Championships, I qualified a spot for the U.S. to send a WC1 to Tokyo 2020. I also earned points that give me an advantage going into our Olympic team selection races next spring!

I started this fundraiser to help pay for my canoe/kayak slalom training and racing during 2019. As a member of the Junior and Senior U.S. National Teams, I'll represent the U.S. at four World Cups, Junior Worlds, Senior Worlds, and the Olympic Test Event in Tokyo.

I'll travel a lot this year...starting with a six-week training camp in Australia and then a couple of weeks in La Seu d'Urgell, Spain. After U.S. Team Trials in April, I'll make two more extended trips to Europe to train and race throughout the summer and fall. There's also an Olympic Test Event in Tokyo during October that's on my wishlist!

As you may know, there's not much athlete funding for our sport in the U.S. That means athletes have to rely on the generosity of friends, family, and other supporters. Any level of support you can give helps me train, travel and get to the races! Every cent will be used to pay for my plane tickets, boat transportation, coaching fees, water fees, race entry fees, meals, and accommodations while I train and race.

Please consider making a donation and sharing this campaign with your friends and family to help spread the word (send me a message if you'd prefer to make a donation by cash or check).

With much gratitude,

Evy
