For over a year now, I have been working with Visionary Dance Theatre, a non-profit dance company working to make dance accessible to disadvantaged children and young adults. The entire adult company and a portion of the children's company have been invited to dance and learn with The Movement Kitchen in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam for their annual event "Holding Common Ground: Pathways to Cultural Exchange in Vietnam" in April, 2020 after a beautiful showing by Creative Director Spencer Powell and fellow dancer James LaRose at last year's event. I have the opportunity to travel with the company which would do wonders for my development in the world of dance. The only drawback is the cost of traveling to another continent for a week on a student artist's budget. Any donation amount helps, and I am happy to offer private lessons, choreography, or admission to a special one-time workshop where I will share some of what I learn on the trip.
To avoid fees, please donate through Venmo @Greycloud9
In short, I would be eternally grateful for your support in this amazing opportunity. Let's do this!
