Chad and Jenn’s Mission Trip
Chad and Jennifer are embarking upon a mission trip this summer and they need our help!
Through their home church, Hope Fellowship-McKinney, Chad and Jenn will be going to New York City. They seek to be the hands and feet of Christ while serving hot meals to the homeless community in Manhattan, Harlem, and the Bronx. The Relief Bus outreach that they will be working with utilizes former school buses that have been turned into mobile resource centers for the poor and homeless. This trip is June 18-23 and the two of them need a combined $1800 in order to serve. Your donation will be going toward their airfare, accomodations, local transportation and meals.
Since I have known Jennifer, I have seen her servant heart manifest itself over the years. God has given her a special burden for the homeless, and she has continuously sought to find ways to put that calling on her heart into action. This mission trip aligns perfectly with Jennifer’s heart and I can think of no better person God could send for this particular ministry. Chad feels the biblical calling to be a disciple of Christ and seeks to be a direct reflection of God’s love to others. He has chosen to step out in faith and listen to the conviction in his heart to love as God has called us to love. They aim to grow closer to one another while doing the work that God has set before them.
Chad and Jenn have felt the desire to go on this mission trip for two and a half years, and are excited to be going on their first mission trip together. They are eager to spread the love of Jesus while doing something tangible to help those in need.
