Hello family and friends!
Hope you are doing well! As some of you may know, I will be participating in a program where I, along with 47 other veterinary students will be travelling abroad to practice International Veterinary Medicine. I will be going to Southeast Asia, specifically Thailand, Bali and Nepal this summer to provide volunteer veterinary aid to animal organizations. This will be an invaluable opportunity to experience veterinary medicine in a different setting and to assist in projects related to population control, wildlife rehabilitation, and public education. All my placements are at dog/cat shelters and rescues where I will get the opportunity to help with spays/neuters, general welfare, physical exams, street feeding programs, administering medication, physiotherapy, wound management, vaccinations and more. We are a non-profit student group that relies on donations (with funds going to medical supplies and shelter operation costs), and I was hoping you would consider making a donation to our cause.
Anything you would be able to contribute would be greatly appreciated. All of your donations go a long way - they go towards travel costs, bringing supplies to the shelters, living costs, visas and more. Even the smallest amount means a lot and I would be so ever appreciative! Even if you can't donate, sending the link to someone you feel may be interested also means a lot!
