Coco is a beautiful loving German Shepherd, and our beloved family member. She needs our help. We've had her since she was just 7 weeks old. Over the years she's brought love and joy to everyone that's had the opportunity to meet her. She's cherished, not only for her darling personality, her amazing disposition and intelligence, and unconditional love, but for all of the emotional support she's provided to her owner over the years, during such trying times. Words can't express how dear she is to me.

Now she's fallen ill and her medical bills are really significant. She underwent surgery a few months ago, in August 2018. Since then she's had many hospital visits, diagnostic tests, x-rays and ultrasounds, specialist visits. Now she's scheduled for another surgery in December 2018, due to liver disease. She's such a strong brave girl. If you can, please help save Coco. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Latest Update

08/01/2018 We’d hoped for puppies one day. This surgery meant no puppies, but if were blessed with some more time with our girl, we would be grateful. At ~6:30 p.m. she was admitted to the hospital. We were told she’d be taken into surgery soon, likely within an hour or so. We waited all night. At an early morning hour, before sunrise, we finally received a call from the surgeon. Coco survived the surgery, thank goodness! I could finally get a little rest, but not for too long. The emergency facility instructed me to pick Coco up no later than 7:00 a.m. in the morning, as they would be closing at that time. That was difficult, seemed much too soon, rushed. But I had no choice. She is such a strong brave girl...

07/31/2018 Coco’s first ever veterinary hospital visit was on this day. It began with a vet visit. Coco had a lack of appetite for days now, she would spit up whatever she consumed including water, excessive thirst, lethargy, and discharge. Tests and an x-ray revealed Coco had an extremely elevated billy ruben count, and a bacterial infection of the uterus, Pyometra. She required an emergency surgery this very evening and they couldn’t assure us she’d survive.

Hi, first, thank you ever so much for your kind and generous support, and for your prayers. It’s been so busy here, and at times, devastatingly challenging and heartbreaking. I’m sorry I haven’t posted updates sooner. Between veterinary hospital appointments, round-the-clock care, keeping up with medications, when I finally find myself in a quiet moment, I admit I’ve just been thankful to have a little time to catch my breath and enjoy my darling Coco. Such a sweet girl. Coco’s page doesn’t have many followers yet, but it’s important that you know she really does need your help, and any help at all is sincerely appreciated. Though she’s not feeling well today, she’s resting at the moment so I’m going to try to work on posting some updates now...
