Hello everyone! My name is Daphny and my cat’s name is Ozzie. Ozzie has been sick going on 2 weeks now and is having a hard time keeping any food in his stomach. At this time, I need to crowdfund money in order to pay for his vet visits, treatment, my overdue medical bills, and rent to avoid losing my housing in NYC.
I took Ozzie to Bond Vet - Cobble Hill on January 13th, but I was unable to afford an Ultrasound.
The vet suspected that Ozzie had eaten something he wasn’t supposed to, prescribed probiotics, wet food, and an antibiotic to see if he could naturally pass what upset his stomach.
I’ve had to force feed Ozzie his food, medicine, and water for the past two weeks and he has shown a little improvement, having a few nibbles a day, but it always end with throwing up stomach bile. He was able to pass the piece of plastic a week ago, but still cannot eat a full meal on his own.
I am very nervous for him and myself. I have no choice, but to try to reach out for help, as I was laid off in December and have yet to receive my unemployment benefits.
Due to these unexpected expenses, I will be late for rent this month.
In this Plum Fund, I am requesting $2000
-$1,100 for an ultrasound and blood test (quoted by vet)
-$300 for past due vet bill
-$600 to cover rent and past due medical bills
Any amount during these tough times will tremendously help my baby boy and myself as I am still looking for employment. If you are unable to donate, please feel free to share. My venmo is @cutesy and my cashapp is $cutesyyy if you are unable to donate to Plum Fund.
Thank you for taking the time to read, I will continue to post updates on Ozzie’s health.
