Hi Everyone,

Unfortunately Molly and I had to take Gandalf to the hospital tonight. He has a blockage in his urethra and will need to have a procedure and be hospitalized in the ICU for the next 3 days.

The pet bills for this was quite a lot. For perspective, it cost twice as much as my car. As such, we need to ask for donations from our loved ones. Any amount would greatly help.

Please and Thank You.

Latest Update

After having Gandalf home for little over a day and a half, Molly and I had to take Gandalf back to the vet. He has a fever and an obstruction and will need to have another catheter put in and be monitored for the next 48 hours. This week has been extremely difficult and emotionally draining for both Molly and me. We can not fully convey how much our friends and family's support has meant to us. Every donation and supportive message has been greatly appreciated, and we love and thank you all.

Molly and I just visited Gandalf in the vet's ICU. He seemed very sad and was in the corner of his cage, but when he saw us he became very affectionate. His status right now is that he cleared the obstruction but he still is passing blood through his catheter. His kidney levels are still very high, and he is still having diarrhea and trouble eating. He's going to need to stay in the ICU for at least a couple more days.
