Hey everyone! My name is Nichole and we are trying to help raise money for our dog Jackson. He is just over a year old and recently developed runny eyes that very quickly ended up very red and swollen. We took him to the vet where he was diagnosed with corneal ulcers on each eye, likely caused by his second diagnoses of distichiasis (extra hairs growing in the wrong spot on his eye). We will have to bring him to a veterinary ophthalmologist, because of his condition he will likely need surgery to remove the hairs and repair the ulcers. I wish we were more prepared for a situation like this, but it was very unexpected. We just want for him to heal and to be comfortable as soon as possible as the condition is painful and infection could make the situation much worse. We appreciate any and all help!
