Our 10-year-old golden retriever poodle mix Ginger is anemic and has low blood platelets. It is life threatening.
She has been bleeding out of her gi-tract for about 2 weeks and our local veterinary hospital doesn't have the resources to figure out why.
She has been referred to BluePearl Pet Hospital near Detroit for further diagnostics and a specialist. The Veterinarian who checked Ginger gave us an estimate of the cost being between 2,000 and 5,000 dollars. Depending on what it is, it could cost more.
We have already spent a few thousand on her in the past year for her Pancreatitis, prescription veterinary food, ear issues, and more. We are very tight on money and would greatly appreciate any contribution anyone can make to help save our baby girl.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I will be updating this with further news as we receive it.
