Doc, the cat, joined the 605 family in October 2017. He was rescued from the streets of Greenwood and was nurtured with his sibling, Smokey, back to full health where they have thrived until now. Unfortunately earlier this month Doc developed Cystitis, this has worsened into Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease which has been causing him a great deal of pain and the inability to use the bathroom. Doc is currently in critical condition at the ICU 2 hours away, as his disease was too severe for the local vets to treat. His presence at the house is greatly missed. He is a kind and sweet cat who gives love to all he meets.
A generous donor affiliated with Four Paws Animal Health Center has paid the initial $1,500 to have Doc treated. To keep him alive, he needs round the clock care for an additional week.
This is going to cost $2,000 which is not available to us right now. I am asking you to please consider investing in Doc's life. The vets have stated they anticipate a full recovery if the $2,000 can be found to cover the additional medical bills. Please consider donating any amount you can. Together we can save Doc!
