The purpose of this page is to raise financial support for our brother, Ray, during his recovery from emergency endoscopic brain surgery.
He has a two month old son and he will not be able to work for at least a month.
Ray was experiencing seriously blurred and double vision for a few weeks, which started off sporadic, but by Sunday evening had become constant.
As the symptoms worsened he called a 24 hour nurse hotline and was urged to go to the ER. At the ER they ordered an MRI and found a blockage and excessive fluid buildup in his brain.
They immediately admitted him to the neurosciences unit and scheduled an endoscopic surgery to drain the fluid and try to biopsy the blockage.
Unfortunately they were unable to biopsy the blockage due to its location in the brain stem, but thankfully they were able to successfully drain the fluid.
Hopefully the follow up visits will provide more answers.
We are requesting funds as soon as possible to help with all aspects of his treatment and to help support his two month old son while he’s unable to work due to recovery.
Any small donation would go long way to help him and help his family. Please keep us all in your thoughts and prayers.
Thanks,
The Duncan Family
