Jordan was diagnosed on February 5, 2019 with AML, Acute Myeloid Leukemia and underwent cycle 1 of chemotherapy. After completing cycle 1 of chemotherapy Jordan underwent a bone marrow biopsy on March 19, 2019. The results showed Jordan has more than 80% Leukemia cells in his marrow; therefore, Jordan's plan of treatment has changed from 5 cycles of chemotherapy to advancing to cycle 4, then cycle 3, and eventually a bone marrow transplant. Unfortunately, Jordan's sister was not a match and a search is being conducted nationally through bethematch.org to find a donor. Jordan's diagnosis and treatment have been stressful for him and his family. Funds will be needed to cover medical bills and ensure the family home will not pose an infection risk to Jordan upon his return. Your prayers, monetary donation, your registration with join.bethematch.org/jordansjourney or text "jordansjourney" to 61474 are greatly appreciated.

Latest Update

Jordan is doing well after his transplant. He has had one short hospitalization since he was discharged after transplant with an infection. Jordan will be doing home based schooling for his senior year until his doctor releases him to return to school. Life is busy caring for him. Next bone marrow biopsy is this Thursday--praying for good results. We are still fundraising to help cover expenses. Thank you to everyone who has been so generous--we cannot express how much we appreciate your support!

I'm so happy for Jordan, I will continue to keep him in my prayers❤️❤️

Jordan received his stem cell transplant on Friday June 28th. He remains hospitalized as he waits for the new immune system to start working. In the meantime, we are working on some home improvement projects to insure Jordan comes home to a clean environment. Thank you for all of your support.

We love you Jordan! May God always be by your side and may you always have great days ahead

Jordan is now in his third round of chemotherapy. He is not in remission yet. We are hopeful this new chemo treatment will do the trick. Once in remission he will move forward to bone marrow transplant. Thank you for all of your support and prayers.
