Hello! I’m reaching out with a request for support for my dear sister, Julia Newton, and her medical needs. Her doctor has pointed her towards treatment— with a 90% success rate (!)— for her literal nonstop pain.
Thank God that an May follow-up from her two surgeries to remove diseased tissue has shown there were no obvious adhesions at the time of the checkup. However, the debilitating pain and fatigue persist— interfering with all aspects of daily life— until it can be resolved with this upcoming treatment that involves physical therapy, injections, medications, the doctors’ visits that go with it and the transportation costs that go with that. This includes diagnostic testing not covered by financial aid, medications, nerve and muscle rehab, and physical therapy follow-up work.
As an ex-welder needing to adapt from her situation for the long term, she began career training involving Greenville Tech as well as looking towards independent study toward a sustainable new career in Computer Technology with goals of being certified and employed in this field in 18-24 months. However, some materials for school are not covered by scholarships, and independent study programs toward certifications come at a cost. When she has received enough treatment and is in a good enough health to continue her studies, she will. Please help her get to that point.
I am humbly asking you to consider a donation toward the costs of these treatments, doctor visits, and career training to help her make it through each day and eventually beyond. Even if you don’t know her, please know that she is a beautiful, gracious, resilient soul. She and I would be so grateful for whatever you might be willing to give to give her a shot, for the first time in decades, at a life free enough of pain to do what she needs to do.
I would also very much appreciate your support in spreading the word and sharing this letter or link, this would be a huge help in my sister getting the help she needs and to honestly get her life back. Thank you so much in advance. Your support means the world to us!
Sincerely,
Janet Hernandez
