This gorgeous boy is super friendly with all people, good with dogs both large and small, good with toys, not aggressive or reactive (not cat tested). He is so affectionate, loves to snuggle, and wants more than anything to be the best boy.

Waylon formerly known as Stinky or little stinker (stinky breath lol) as he is being called is a tan bully mix, intact male, got hit by a car on 50th between spruce and Irving. After going to the vet it was discovered that he has fractured his femur is and is need of urgent surgery. He also needs vaccines and neuter.

His current finder has take him to two vets to get him evaluated and to compare costs of getting surgery for his leg. So far the vet bills alone are around 300.00 (X-rays, visit, and medications for pain) but the surgery estimates are consistent and quoted at $5k-6k to fix his leg.

We are crowdsourcing to help this pupper get back up on his feet, so that he can find his forever home. We have started the process of reaching out to rescues to assist us, however this surgery is urgent and also can not wait.

Please consider donating to this poor boy who by no fault of his own has found himself in a pretty rough predicament. We are looking for a long term foster and/or rescue to take him while he is getting medical treatment and on the mend. The current finder can not keep him as there are other dogs in the home (even though he gets along with them) just due to logistics and space.

If you can even donate $5-$10 and pay it forward from someone that may have helped you out in a tough spot we would really appreciate it. $5 is also the going rate for one cup of coffee/latte these days so if you spend money on that or some other little vice that you might be able to give up to support this pup we would be so grateful.

Latest Update

Hey Everyone! Well it has been a whirlwind of work and activity regarding Waylon. He went to a follow up appointment at VSEC and the surgery he has to get is less intrusive and the recovery should be easier. He also will then be at 100% according to doctors. We had a Yappy Hour this week for him and also raised 376.00 which was amazing and my new intern Nicole got to meet Waylon when he showed up to meet his fans! Our next big event is the dog wash at Greensgrow on 6/17/19 Please come out. We even have a reactive dog section set up with visual blinders from all other dogs an special area! Thank you so much for everyone that has donated this has been an amazing journey and I am sorry I could not thank each of you individually but you have all been so amazing!

Hey Everyone! I am so so sorry I have not had a chance to PERSONALLY thank you each and everyone of you for donating so generously to Waylon's fundraiser. We are making progress! Got some medical records released from the vet today which is good which allows us to contact more rescues with specific needs, apply for grants and such. We are still raising funds and supporting his foster parent right now as much as possible. He is doing great in the home, good and excited to see people and other dogs, is a big couch potato! We will also be hosting a dog wash and Yappy Hour to support our little pupper Please stay tuned for additional information and updates!

So, I am just so awed, humbled, and grateful for all the outpouring of support, donations, and words of encouragement for Waylon (formally known as Stinky). He is doing absolutely amazing in his new foster home, he loves to lounge on the couch, snuggle, doesn't get into to0 many things, is getting crate trained, does really well on walks, sits at corners, and doesn't pull very much at all. His foster describes him as a great dog, well rounded, well behaved, and just so grateful for all the love and snuggles he is getting. We are making huge progress on his fundraising campaign getting over $1000.00 mark in about a week. We are also looking to partner with businesses and groups to have pop up events like a dog wash, a Yappy Hour, possibly a pop up yoga event to continue getting donations and raising money for this good boy. WPCreativepets will be covering the cost of all training once he is back on his feet and cleared. Cant wait to get this boy up and back on his feet !
