This gorgeous boy is super friendly with all people, good with dogs both large and small, good with toys, not aggressive or reactive (not cat tested). He is so affectionate, loves to snuggle, and wants more than anything to be the best boy.
Waylon formerly known as Stinky or little stinker (stinky breath lol) as he is being called is a tan bully mix, intact male, got hit by a car on 50th between spruce and Irving. After going to the vet it was discovered that he has fractured his femur is and is need of urgent surgery. He also needs vaccines and neuter.
His current finder has take him to two vets to get him evaluated and to compare costs of getting surgery for his leg. So far the vet bills alone are around 300.00 (X-rays, visit, and medications for pain) but the surgery estimates are consistent and quoted at $5k-6k to fix his leg.
We are crowdsourcing to help this pupper get back up on his feet, so that he can find his forever home. We have started the process of reaching out to rescues to assist us, however this surgery is urgent and also can not wait.
Please consider donating to this poor boy who by no fault of his own has found himself in a pretty rough predicament. We are looking for a long term foster and/or rescue to take him while he is getting medical treatment and on the mend. The current finder can not keep him as there are other dogs in the home (even though he gets along with them) just due to logistics and space.
If you can even donate $5-$10 and pay it forward from someone that may have helped you out in a tough spot we would really appreciate it. $5 is also the going rate for one cup of coffee/latte these days so if you spend money on that or some other little vice that you might be able to give up to support this pup we would be so grateful.
