I am excited to announce that I am graduating from High School as Valedictorian at age 12 from Concord Academy! Additionally, durning Covid I put my time to good use and I am also graduating from Rowan Cabarrus Community College with a 2 year Associates degree with high honors.

I was encouraged to make this plumfund from those in my global social network that inquired about how to send me well wishes and gifts. I am beyond grateful for all the love and support everyone has shown me to this point in my educational journey. Each one of you is special and I thank you all!

  • Gard Otis2 years ago Hi Mike, I am a retired professor. My passion-- whole-organism field biology. I study mostly honey bees and butterflies. I saw a CNN article about you and was motivated to write to you. Many people and institutions that don't have your best interests at hear will want to benefit from you and your abilities. Anticipate there being a LOT of pressure on you from many sides. I encourage you to stay true to yourself in what you choose to do as you move forward. And if you find yourself in a situation that is not going well, be prepared to back away. Find your true supporters, like your parents, and listen to their advice. I wish your interests lay with nature-- birds, butterflies, bees, etc.! My profession would benefit from a person like you. But you must be sure to remain true to yourself. I wish for you a wonderful life, filled with happiness. Dr. Gard Otis, Professor Emeritus, Univ. of Guelph gotis@uoguelph.ca

Ellen was asking you about cryptocurrency I wish she would do the program on her show so we could all see it would be a wonderful show to see to explain to us all what that is all about. If it happens can you let me know I would love to watch it. Thank you again Mike

  • Jammie Johnson2 years ago Mike I am so proud of you. You have such an amazing gift. If I could give you the gift of wisdom from an older person would be... don't try to grow up too fast. Always stay true to who you are. Never forget where you came from and not forgetting the morals and love your parents have surrounded you with. Don't let others try to define you. Always follow your heart. Please don't ever forget its ok to tell people no. Life in general can be overwhelming at times. Just do what you can so that it does not rob you of the joy's of life. When life becomes too much, take second to stop what your doing, take a deep breath, and look around at beauty that is around you. Ex. The birds that are chirping, the wind on you face, the amazing colors of a sunset. I am sorry that I am not very elequent with my word but I hope you will always keep these close to your heart. I wish you the best on life's journey. Sincerely, Jammie Johnson
