Heta Graduated!!! To celebrate we are traveling to Puerto Rico and staying on the remote island of Vieques. We will spend virtually all of our time outside, absorbing vitamin D from the sunlight, and breathing in amazing salt air – with plenty of elbow room, of course.
Now that New Jersey is opening up, travel to Vieques almost feels safer than being at home! We are very fortunate to be traveling with our cousin Katherine, a nurse, and precautions have been factored into every step of the way. This trip is a cure to Heta’s quarantine doldrums, having missed prom and graduation, and we'll also celebrate Heta's 18th birthday! Vieques is home to the world's largest bioluminescent bay and we are super excited to see this magical wonder of nature, guaranteed to bring back the sparkle in Heta's eyes.
If you are able, you can chip in and help get Heta's mind and spirit right for her next big step in education. Or help fund Heta's college: she is attending Rutgers University in the fall.
