Recently Garland ran into deep hardship. He has student loans and he is a veteran with disabilities he served our country for 6 years. He needs help to get on his feet for housing and other needs he gets about $230 a month for Veterans and that is all. We have set aside $1400 so far to help but he needs at least $5000 more to get on his feet. There is more but cannot go into some details but it is dire and urgent.

Latest Update

It has come to my attention that some people do not like donating online to such fundraisers. For those who might want to donate but not online you can send to Ekklesia Church of God 19203 E. Elliot Rd. Mead, WA 99021. Write for disabled Veteran. Just thought maybe some would rather do that. thanks

To date we have received $230 donations online and $1400 offline. Progress being made we want to get more before July 10th or sooner to help our veteran for this year Please help. Many post messages on social media how we should thank and help our disabled, disadvantaged and homeless veterans but when it comes to the chance to do so. Many turn away. These men and women have fought to keep our nation free and deserve to be treated respectfully we can help one or many but each time you say thank you. While Garland is just one of thousands this is a chance to help and thank him for his six years of service. To Help him into a home a good job and back on his feet so he in turn can help a fellow veteran. We did this last year and our last year's veteran is doing well and helping with this fundraiser. YOU can make a difference don't just talk about it. Do it.

Freedom is not Free someone serves and pays the price some with their life some with loss of limb and other infirmities. I cannot believe all the emails sent and petitions NOT ONE person has donated to help this disabled vet. Lots of online talk about thank the veterans and help them instead of illegals but actions speak louder than words. I hope some will think about that and help this needy veteran.

He does have children 3 of them he can visit unlimited but hard to do without a home. He also has some legal fees due to the divorce etc. Please help this Veteran he served you for six years. Our church chooses one Veteran per year to sponsor this year it is Garland. He just needs a hand up. We have raised to date $1600 now but we need $5000. We need $2500 ASAP thanks.
