In June of 2018 Keith and Becky Bingham retired after 46 years of ministry in the United Methodist Church. They lived and continue to live their lives in service to God, to the church, to their family, and to their many friends.
This past February Keith entered the hospital to undergo a procedure called cardiac ablation in an attempt to normalize the rhythm of his heart. The procedure was successful however, during the surgery he developed a blood clot that went to his brain and caused a major stroke leaving him paralyzed on his right side and unable to eat or speak. After four weeks in the hospital Keith was moved to Encompass Rehab Hospital in Rock Hill, SC where he is currently undergoing intense therapy and making slow but steady progress.
During this time Becky and their two daughters, Jennifer and Kara have never left Keith’s side. One of them has and continues to be with him day and night. They are struggling to take one day at a time and lean on faith and trust to get them through.
Medical costs and other expenses are quickly adding up. One of the bigger expenses, aside from the medical costs will be making Becky and Keith’s new home more handicap accessible for Keith. Additionally, Keith faces two more surgeries in the coming year.
Please consider making a donation to help this family with the financial burdens they currently face and will continue to face for many months and even years to come. Any amount that you can share with Keith and Becky will help immensely and allow them to concentrate their efforts on Keith's continuing rehabilitation and improvement. Even the smallest amount will go a long way and will be greatly appreciated.
