Hello friends near and far. On May 17th, 2021 we lost our beloved Laurence Malone to a tragic accident in California. I know we are are all absorbing the passing of such a big spirit and I hope each of you are taking good care. Laurence will be missed by so many. He left behind his beautiful 8 year old son Ikal who is currently residing with his mother Diana in Mexico. The loss of a father for Ikal is immense and overwhelming for both Diana and Ikal. This moment is made harder by the loss Laurence’s financial support. My hope is that we can all ease some of the hardship placed on Diana by showing her and Ikal our love and support by donating what we can to this fundraiser. Please share this fundraiser with others who knew Laurence.

Thank you all.

(one of his many specialities) he left Mexico... We wouldn't see him again. I would like you to know that the money that you all donated will go directly to the purchase of the land where Ikal will grow as Lorenzo and I once dreamed... THANK YOU is not enough... nothing is enough, I will give in this very moment everything to have him back, for Ikal to keep having a father for a long time... for all of us to keep enjoying his presence... Ikal is blessed to have all of you close to him, you are one of the many greatest gifts that Lorenzo left him, you are always welcome to visit Ikal, to communicate with him, to let him know what a wonderful man his father was.

Hey everybody! look at me here is my son!. He got to know unconditional love that parenthood brings within. Lorenzo and I, we both were aiming for a wonderful life for our child, and we planned to move out to some healthier place to raise Ikal, so I moved out with Lorenzo's help to a little country side town were I was working, our intention was to buy a small piece of land and build a house there, after some time I was lucky to find a beautiful place; the agreement with the owner of the land was to pay an amount of money in advanced and the other after one year so I put all my savings on it, Lorenzo contributed as well, unfortunately pandemic came and I was unemployed for a long time, I really struggled for some time, I even had to comeback to my hometown looking for a job, this was during Lorenzo's last visit to Mexico, I was depressed and in one of our last conversations he told me: Hey! you can make it! (same shine in his eyes) he made me believe in myself again

Angels like Sadaaf who put up with this funding, like Shaheen and his beautiful wife Nielika who have been such a blessing for us, Lorenzo’s friends who I had the opportunity to met in the past and many of you who I don’t personally know but with whom I am profoundly grateful, I just want to say THANK YOU! Thank you so much for all that you are giving us through your donations, through your thoughts, your intentions and support. I would like to share this with you: When Ikal was born and Lorenzo came in to meet his son at the hospital's room, it was a very special moment, you can probably imagine Lorenzo’s face, saying: “oh here he is!” so largo! (Long) Lorenzo's eyes were shining and his face was full of joy, I keep that moment in my heart, Lorenzo was a father for the first time; imagine the moment when we came out of the hospital, he was carrying the baby so full of joy and pride, it seemed that he was trying to say:

HELLO TO YOU ALL, This is a humble way to thank you all for your donations, sometimes words are not enough but I'll try. It is hard for me to express all the gratitude I feel to receive the kindness, support, love and care that Ikal and me have been receiving from Lorenzo’s family-friends, after his passing, as many of you, we felt his loss in a very deep way, the emptiness and sadness was unbearable especially when I felt “little man” (as his papa used to call him) crying for the loss of his father and wondering many whys, I must confess that many times I didn’t know what to do or what to say, this situation overwhelmed us, I just tried to be a love and support provider for Ikal but I felt it wasn’t enough because Ikal had lost his father... How could I compensate for that? Lorenzo was a magic man and even after death he made it happen again, because then all of you came to back us up with your words, your prayers, your love and care to our son Ikal.
