A 2nd Language for a 2nd Chance!
Hola and Welcome to IdiomaMalaga! We are an established language school in the heart of Malaga, on the southern coast of Spain. Our aim is to expand our facilities to reach and teach, other parts of the population that can't normally afford the luxury of learning a second or third language. The term "luxury" is used, because it is one of the first requisites when applying for a job in Spain, particularly in tourist driven areas such as Malaga and without resources for private language classes outside the lacking public system, many young people, and people later in life who are unemployed, find it impossible to get a foot in the door for an interview without at least an upper intermediate level of a second language. Language learning has also been proven to stave off dementia and Alzheimer's.
We appreciate your help in buying the office we currently rent, in order to be able to give the same high quality language courses we currently offer, either for free or at a highly reduced rate to the elderly, retired people and the underprivileged community. In addition, the language learning materials and mobile applications produced in house by our staff will be made available to you for free, so you can also take part in the journey of learning a new language!
The income from classes taught in companies, as well as the rental income from the neighboring apartment will cover ongoing maintenance of the school, such as learning materials, utilities and taxes.
The neighboring apartment is currently an office and thanks to your help, will be converted into a holiday flat for language enthusiasts looking for a Spanish language immersion course here in Malaga, people travelling to Malaga for work, or for holiday makers looking to discover Spain's beautiful Andalusia.
Investors of all amounts are welcome to visit us for a tour of the school and to sit in on a class, with prior reservation. There is no minimum amount and all money given makes a difference. We're posting an update with a scale of perks you will receive, related to the amount you donate.
If you wish to partner with us and are going to invest 20,000 dollars or more, you can speak to us about directly purchasing shares in the language and management company.
This is a fun project and safe investment, especially if you enjoy travel, learning about new cultures, meeting new people and above all, helping sectors of the population which don't have the same access to the education they so direly need. Through language learning, we will prepare them for work in the multicultural melting pot, which is Malaga.
Hello y Bienvenidos a IdiomaMalaga!
Somos una academia de idiomas bien establecida en el corazón de Málaga Capital. Nuestro objetivo es ampliar nuestras instalaciones para alcanzar y enseñar, a ciertos sectores de población sin los recursos necesarios para permitirse el "lujo" de aprender un segundo, o incluso un tercer idioma; sin embargo, es uno de los primeros requisitos cuando intentas acceder a un puesto de trabajo en España, sobre todo en zonas tan turísticas como Malaga.
Siendo además algo más que necesario, ya que los centros de educación formal se encuentran bastante sobrecargados y con grupos tan numerosos, que es casi imposible recibir una educación adaptada a las necesidades especificas e individuales de cada alumno/a.
Esto se convierte en un hándicap para muchos jóvenes, y muchos ya no tan jóvenes, que se encuentran en situación de desempleo y tienen que enfrentarse a un mercado laboral muy distinto al que entraron años atrás y donde se les exige como mínimo un nivel intermedio-alto de un 2o idioma.
Por otro lado, el aprendizaje de una lengua, distinta a la materna, también ha demostrado ser una eficaz herramienta para luchar contra algunos tipos de demencia y Alzheimer's en los mayores, siendo éste otro sector que podremos beneficiar con tu ayuda.
Agradecemos tu aportación para poder comprar la oficina que actualmente alquilamos, y poder seguir así ofreciendo los mismos cursos de calidad a nuestro alumnado, además de darnos la posibilidad de abrir cursos gratuitos para los mayores, desempleados y jóvenes en riesgo de exclusión social.
Además, como inversor, tendrás derecho al uso y disfrute de los materiales didácticos y aplicaciones móviles que creamos en la academia, de manera gratuita, compartiendo así el viaje de aprender otro idioma!
Con tu ayuda, convertiremos la oficina anexa en un piso de alquiler vacacional, cuyos ingresos suplementarán los gastos de la academia, aumentando nuestra inversión y proporcionalmente el número de cursos gratuitos que podemos ofrecer.
Inversiones de cualquier importe serán bienvenidas y puedes visitar las instalaciones y asistir a una clase, con cita previa.
Si tu intención es invertir cantidades mayores y hacerte socio tanto en el piso como en la gestión, puedes hablar con nosotros directamente sobre la compra de participaciones.

Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime. That is the whole idea behind this campaign. We now do monthy charity events, each month raising funds for a different charity. While these are successful and fun for all involved, our idea is to go two steps further. If you convert a fixed expense, in this case rent, into something no longer required, we pledge to dedicate that same amount to classes for elderly, unemployed and underprivileged. This is IN ADDITION to our existing commitment to raising funds for different charities.

So you may ask yourself, what exactly your donation leads to? How does it make a difference? To put things into perspective, the first donation we received, a very generous 500 dollars from a friend and one of our students translates to 500 hours of language classes for elderly people looking to keep dementia and Alzheimer's at bay for a few years more. These donations will give people struggling to find their feet an employable skill. They'll help young people without much hope get through school, get into and out of college - a B1 level of a second language is required to finish public universities - and then get a job in a wonderful city where despite an increasing tourism industry, maintains an unemployment rate of 28%. That is the difference you are making.
