Zion Life Changing Ministries administers aid in response to the evolving impoverishment of orphaned children and families in need in Mityana, Uganda. We are asking our global community to assist in any way you can. Just $20 USD will feed a family for a week. Will you help us provide relief during the economic turmoil wrought by COVID-19? Even five dollars would go a long way to alleviating the pressures these families are facing.
BACKGROUND
Since 2008, the church planted by Pastor Wabwire James Muwanguzi has been a source of refuge and hope. Children of various backgrounds have found a home in this community. Once abandoned and lost, they receive stability, mentorship, and instruction in becoming responsible citizens and caring neighbors.
CURRENT PREDICAMENT
COVID quarantines have severely impacted the people here. Many are not allowed, or are too scared, to leave their homes. They cannot consistently access the marketplace in order to engage in commerce, which would enable them to provide for their families. Many go hungry. Some have turned to crime and prostitution in order to survive.
GOD WATCHES OVER US
Despite these dire circumstances, Pastor James and the people in the above photos have placed their trust, not in the government enforcing the lock downs, but in the Creator. They hold to the truth that God provides. To that end, Pastor James tirelessly knocks on virtual doors via social media, and posts regularly on the situation in Uganda.
Recently, he knocked on my door, via Messenger. Once I verified his ministry, I jumped at the opportunity to launch a campaign to assist him in his endeavor to feed the families of Mityana. It is my hope that we will also be able to legally register Zion Life Changing Ministries as a 501c3 entity.
Your payment will be processed through a business PayPal account, "Non-Profit Grant Writing and Consulting," and deposited into a dedicated bank account for Zion Life. Zion Life receives all donations, minus transaction fees from online payment vendors.
