World Cups & U23 World Champs 2018
This summer will mark my 3rd year in a row representing the USA in Europe for the Senior World Cups and my 4th U23 World Championships! Just a couple weeks ago, I secured my U23 team spot as well as a the chance to represent the Sr. team by placing 4th in the National Team Trials in Charlotte, NC!
Throughout this year I've been pushing myself in paddling while also managing to graduate from University of Maryland with my Bachelors degree in Kinesiology as well as working at a local van conversion company to help pay for my education, housing, training, etc.
As a full time athlete, and a recent transition from being a full time student at the University of Maryland, money is short and unfortunately there is again zero funding for the team athletes this year. I will be purchasing a van and living out of it as a way of cutting down on living and travel costs as I travel for the races this summer and hopefully remain in Europe for training over the next year. This is where I need your help! Any amount you can donate towards the expenses of travel, competition, food, the van, gas or gear is immensely appreciated!
2020 Tokyo is just around the corner, and with school now out of the way, I intend to put 110% of my efforts into kayaking over the next 2 years. Thank you to everyone for the endless support, I couldn't do it without you!
