With your donation we'll buy essential school supplies for the Karen people at Dae Bu Noh village in Karen State in Burma (Myanmar). Your gift also helps us fund construction of new schools and libraries across Karen State. You’re providing the educational resources to help build future Karen leaders!

In our most recent trip to Karen State, in January 2020, we delivered supplies to thousands of Karen students in dozens of Mu Traw district area schools:

• 41,000 student notebooks, 30,000 Pens, 20,000 pencils

• 200 boxes of A4 copy paper - for exams, quizzes, and tests.

• Soccer balls, cane balls and nets, volleyballs and nets, and badminton supplies.

• White boards, markers, chalk, rulers, erasers.

• Sixteen donated used digital cameras.

• Twelve laptop computers for the computer room in the new library we funded in our KARE Trip in Jan. 2019.

• We're also funding construction of a 2nd library. The one we funded last year looks absolutely amazing!

• Plus we've provided funds to build a primary school in a rural village we visit annually.

• Many classroom teaching tools and much more!

With your help we will continue to make education possible for thousands of Karen students and future Karen leaders!

Huge thank you to all 32 hockey players who braved hurricane conditions on the golf course on Saturday for our third annual Project KARE hockey-golf outing! With hockey rinks closed to league play for the last three months, it was a long overdue reunion. This exceptional bunch of hockey guys are big supporters of education for Karen people. On Saturday the gang donated more than $2,200 to buy school supplies on our next KARE Trip!! Special thank you to John Kopperud and Dan Ostrom for their generosity and a really BIG thank you to Doug and Gail Condon for hosting the 19th hole. Many thanks to Eric Anolin for the photos. Not an easy feat while the cart is on two wheels!
