ANGEL TREE FUND TO BENEFIT THE AMANDA RILEY FOUNDATION
In an effort to support a fantastic organization - the Amanda Riley Foundation - that is very important to me, each year I do a fundraiser! The Amanda Riley Foundation provides everyday support to children battling cancer. This includes bringing the kids meals, clothes, toys/games, goody bags, care packages, and most importantly - smiles - throughout the year! During the holiday season ARF puts up 'Angel Trees' to provide gifts to those going through treatment and their families. This includes gifts for siblings, and gift cards for food and gas so the family can have a worry-free, happy holiday!
This is the perfect solution for those who want to give back, but are unsure how to do so or do not have the time to pick up an Angel Tree ornament and go shopping. You donate, I do the shopping!
I know money can be tight, especially during the holiday season, but if we each give what we can spare we can make a huge difference! If you cannot donate money, I encourage you to donate your time by coming shopping with me for the gifts, or simply reading about the Amanda Riley Foundation to learn more about what they do.
ARF is gearing up to support 30 families this holiday season, and every present and gift card not donated must be purchased by the foundation -- our goal is to have them buy as little as possible! Last year, we were able to raise $1575 and fulfilled over 50 wishes, let's do even more this year!
Every penny raised here will be spent on gifts and gift cards for the Amanda Riley Foundation Angel Trees. Anything left over will be donated to the foundation.
