We have set up a way to donate funds to help pay for a postpartum doula / night doula (also known as a night nurse) for the first few weeks after delivery. We are excited to have professional care in our home in those early days and appreciate your help!
What is a doula? A doula is a trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to a mother before, during and shortly after childbirth to help her achieve the healthiest, most satisfying experience possible.
Numerous studies examining both postpartum doula and night doula care demonstrate remarkably improved physical and psychological outcomes for both mother/baby and have a positive impact on the well-being of the entire family!
