Hi Friends & Family!
Welcome to our Plumfund Registry!
Because our apartment is small, we’re having to be strategic about how we navigate space. Plumfund provides a way for us to purchase things as we need them and be reimbursed for things we’ve already purchased. While we did include tax, Plumfund means you don't pay shipping...so BONUS!! There is NO obligation to contribute, especially since we can’t buy you brunch and send you home with party favors!
Now for a little update.
When we decided to try for a baby during a pandemic, there were a lot of factors we didn’t really foresee. Obviously, we knew we would need to be laying low, but to what extent, we couldn’t have guessed. So here we are still, almost March and closing in on the April 9 due date, and this baby boy practically only knows our two voices. No prenatal yoga, no mommy groups or maternity clothing jaunts, not even any in-person prenatal appointments we could attend together. We took a fabulous birth class via Zoom, but otherwise have been quite isolated from the rest of the ‘exepecting’ world. It’s been, well…strange, to say the least…and certainly not what our pre-pandemic selves would have imagined.
But we honestly could not feel more blessed. We are preparing for a new life in our one-bedroom apartment and we couldn’t be happier. We are sleeping in as much as physically possible, enjoying our quiet evenings together and still trying to bathe and exercise at reasonable intervals. I’m still feeling good at 34 weeks and am keeping the hip pain away with my self-care and sun salutations. Georgette is being a stellar dog mom and is constantly reminding me to be careful…on the stairs, in the snow, on the ice, in the tub, in the car…you get the point. She worries about my center of gravity. So all-in-all we're doing great. We just miss our people!
